TNE FF&S 2 Munition design Installment 2

Howdy all,

I'm going through the munition design process in TNE FF&S under HE there is a table that modifies the burst size based on the concussion damage value by a multiplier based on being designed for use by a gun, grenade, mortar, rocket, or aerial bomb.

Step G Mass 1 KEAP 2 Special Rounds are broken down into into the following types: aerial bomb, artillery shell, hand grenade, low-velocity propelled grenade, medium-velocity propelled grenade, rocket, missile, light recoilless rifle, rifle grenade, high-velocity propelled grenade, RAM grenade, heavy recoilless rifle, or mortar.

I would like to combine the two into a single list that would then look up the appropriate multiplier.

Would the Special KEAP round types of artillery shell, light recoilless rifle and heavy recoilless rifle be considered a gun in the HE burst radius table?

Would a missile use the HE Burst Size multiplier for rocket?

I'm guessing that all Special KEAP grenades probably would use the Grenade HE Burst multiplier?

Morning all,

I received a PM from jec10 letting me know, politely :D, that I have once again managed to merge different rules together. Thanks jec10 for the assistance on getting this retired old submarine sailor straightened out.;)

Since jec10 pointed out that G. Mass 2 Special Rounds is a separate item from KEAP that modifies my original question by dropping all references to KEAP.

Let me try again at asking my questions.

E. Burst 1. HE warheads on page 139 are attached to rounds associated with guns, grenades, mortars, rockets, and aerial bombs.

G. Mass 2. Special Rounds on page 141 appears to provide more detail on the possible rounds that a warhead can be attached to.

Would the hand, low-velocity propelled, medium-velocity propelled, rifle, high-velocity propelled, and RAM grenades listed in the table below G Mass 2 be equivalent to E1 Grenades?

Would light and heavy recoilless rifles fall under the E1 munition type of gun?

Would a missile from G2 page 141 use the multiplier for a rocket for calculating the burst radius in E1 on page 139?
