Type A Pistol Base
This is the foundation element of the HSLWS. It is comprised of the pistol grip, the main power link, and the basic focusing element. No other elements of the HSLWS system can be used without this unit.
Type B Carbine Adaptor
This attachment increases the HSLWS Pistol Base’s output and effectiveness. It is comprised of the expanded focusing element and the Mk VII Battle Sight hardpoint. It cannot be operated without the Pistol Base.
Type C Rifle Adaptor
This attachment further increases the HSLWS effectiveness. It is comprised of the advanced focusing element and the lateral pistol grip. It cannot be used without the Pistol Base and the Type B Carbine Adaptor.
Power Node
This device is the chassis for the HSLWS power supply. It holds up to four Power Cell 75 units, for a maximum of 300 Power Factors (shots). It also has a port installed for recharging from an external power source such as a Vehicle or Starship Power Plant. It has variable position clips that enable it to be worn on either the upper or lower back, or from a belt clip (though this is a little bulky)
Power Cell 75
This is a high yield Power Cell for use with the HSLWS. Its design allows it to be “stacked” in a Power Node in numbers up to four. Each unit holds a 75 Power Factor charge, and can be recharged externally.
Mk VII Battle Sight
The Mk. VII is an electronic combination sight that utilizes HUD technology
and passive IR and UV capabilities. It is comprised of two segments, the wireless helmet visor link, and the riflescope sized sensor itself. It can only be used with the carbine and rifle adaptors
