Welcome to the new COTI server. We've moved the Citizens to a new server. Please let us know in the COTI Website issue forum if you find any problems.
We, the systems administration staff, apologize for this unexpected outage of the boards. We have resolved the root cause of the problem and there should be no further disruptions.
I think somebody is having a laugh. I can just imagine all the wildlife you'll get to see from the edge of a runway. Even one supposedly "short and rough" enough to land and take off in this jet.
All in all, it's a good enough design depending on how "Rough and tumble" the runways is going to be. But I imagine it'll get snapped up by some Dubai princeling for use on his private island where he can have the runway hidden away, but a taxiway with parking going out to the beach. Power jacks for the ice-maker and plenty of servants for the cooking and such. It'd make about as much sense as that Russian billionaire who is collecting monster yachts.
But it does give some ideas on how a safari ship's balcony deck would look like and maybe work. Cut n' paste some 2-headed green giraffes into the pic and oila'!
I like the idea of it being an OSPREY, still it needs a turret. At this tech level you could mount either M2 Brownings, a GAU family mini-gun or 20/30mm cannons.
I like to put a VRF Gauss Gun in one of the slots of a triple turret just for grounded point defense.
