The Educational Process: Major and Minor

When I choose a Major and Minor ( pg. 142) do I ...

1) Choose a knowledge skill ex The Sciences (Knowledge- with all the skill listed) as a Major and Author (under Arts) as a Minor.

or

2) Choose a skill under The Sciences ex Archeology as a Major and Chemistry as a Minor?

I have read page 71, but I still am not sure how this works.

See page 100. The lists of "appropriate" majors and minors is in the bottom left corner. For example, at a college or university, you can pick any art, any science, or any of athlete, broker, bureaucrat, counselor, designer, language, or teacher.

Then see page 142. The arts are actor, artist, author, etc. The sciences are archeology, biology, chemistry, etc. The remaining 7 in the list above (from page 100) are in the big group of 35 skills on the far left.

Specific majors could make things more interesting, such as language. See the actual skill definitions starting on page 146.

No problem. And feel free to ask more question. Many here know these rules inside and out ... unfortunately including the logical holes. (It really needs an index.)

Good luck, and have fun playing!
