The best acted character in a sci-fi show.

Andreas Katsulas was great a G'Kar, a proud warrior who loses his people to their old enemies and finds his soul. But there was also Peter Jurasik (Londo Mollari), Walter Koenig (Alfred Bester), Ed Wassar (Mr Morden), and John Vickery (Neroon), I've also got to mention Wayne Alexander (Sebastien / Drakh / Lorien) just because of his versatility in playing all of those parts in the same show and making them different. Then there was Claudia Christian (Susan Ivanova) who managed to always get really good lines in the script.

Untapped Resource

Not an avid Trekker but I always felt the holographic sentience known as Moriarty from the ST:TNG episodes was deserving of further development and re-appearance in the Trek universe.

At the very least a brief cameo in one of the Next Generation films would have been an unexpected but very welcome delight.

His Casey character in "Chuck" is kinda like what Jayne would've been like if he was American Dad.

Would've been hilarious to have an ep of Firefly where Simon had to cure Jayne of a disease by having to snog him, like in Chuck vs The Ex...

Just curious why the BBC comedy, Red Dwarf was omitted from the list, if allowed a write-in vote mine would be for the charming character portrayed by Danny John-Jules, Cat.

Andreas Katsulas, After seeing him in other roles, he has breath of character. Remember the one armed man from The Fugitive? As G'Kar, he took a small role and made it grand.

I chose G’Kar from the list as I felt he did an outstanding job at portraying the growth of his character as he found his way down the path of honor.

This needs to be broken in to different specialties;
If we're defining the best as grew the character..forgetting they need great lines...and scripts.

Most Human:
Leonard Nimoy - Spock. best overall characterization
Edward Almos - Adama

Most profound and Inspiring: G'kar
G'kar was profound but this show B5 should rank as Best Characters in a series...Londo, Bester... Lennier....Ivanova and Garibaldi... all great.

Jayne - Adam Baldwin is a fine character actor. Don't believe that Jayne and Major Casey are one in the same but its not a stretch.

In hindsight ST blew Pickard. They could've explained him as mixed french-english. shame...

The Doctor...well that is a category... ok Tom or David...hmmm

Now we could have an evil Tv list ... 1) Bester 2) Londo? 3) Scorpius 5) Baltar (Callis and Colicos)....
