That 443 Sale...

A. Does anyone know if farfuture.net is still selling its PDF bundle sets? I may be inquisitive, but also cautious.

And because I live in 'da hood in Chicago (I live on the edge of Englewood/Chicago Lawn where 1/3 of the murders take place)....

B. Is that 443 sale also for Dropbox purchases, not just for the CD-ROMs? We were one of the zipcodes that was hit a while back where thieves were hijacking US mail trucks and on occasion still steal packages (like our prescripions) right off the doorstep.

I can't answer the 443 sale bit but can answer the dropbox bit of your question.

The last time I indulged in the 443 I bought the usb version but Marc offered me dropbox, cd or USB.

At the time I didn't have a dropbox account so opted for the USB, then found out my new machine still has a cd/dvd/blu ray or whatever it is.

Doesn't every NavComp have one for the Pilot? ;)
LOL,
Ironically, there was an interaction between two of the characters in my campaign where "He" made a comment and "She" kneed him in the crotch
Some weeks later, in an InstellArms venue in the Ghandi system, he asked for "the most reinforced groin protecting jack strap and cup they had"

So, to answer your question....in some cases, it's not standard in the NavComp so much as it's a "special-order third-party item"

I am sure about drop box, he offered it via email.
Dropbox operates from the sender's software
So If you accept the offer to have files delivered via dropbox, the sender will create a directory on their system
That directory will be shared with you, and you will receive a link via email
When you click on the link, it will allow you to download any files shared in that directory to your system
All the "housekeeping" will be managed in the process

So, you do not need to have Dropbox installed beforehand

What brand is the thumb drive?
Could you post a photo of it?
The "hologram" sticker on the front of the box makes it a little hard to guess at exactly what the stickers on the thumb drive look like.
