P 563 mentions a "Suerrat" method of designing strangeform robots, but doesn't include it (instead it has the "quickbuilding strangeform robots" using VehicleMaker). I'd like to see that. To make it worth a book, we could add in things like rules for bionics/cybernetics (like in MT/MgT), maybe even some computer network and program rules, for those of us who like that sort of thing. Sort of a "Cybertech" book or something.

Damn! A year ago and practically no one seemed to be reading the darned thing and now people are popping out of the woodwork with URLs and comments here like wildfire. (Which I am digging. )

Now, as for it being OTU, no quite. It is an ATU and it some 8-14 thousand years from the late 20th Century from my base Terra/Earth which was originally my supers law enforcement game, which is why things like Psionics are not feared and punished and Robots as Persons and Citizens are part of my TU.

Also, McEvans if you have a character concept drop in at the OOC thread and we can see what we can do. It seems both you and Topaz77 are in the same boat. If you are cool with it and nothing else I could Generate a character for you.

Still, glad to see that interest is picking up. As for Supplements, right now I am working on getting out a Traveller⁵ Character Record and of course the T5 ACS Supplement: HMS Herald of the Marches.

So have patience and we will get you some Traveller⁵ game stuffs.

I always knew things like the HMS Herald would probably be cool, but I can't lie, I was not so sure how an ATU would go over.

Yes, My Patron, you were as usual correct and it does look as if I do have a so far small, but growing audience for my ATU now. Good thing I have been collecting all this background information and trying to structure the Setting Book.

Thanks for the offer but I like to know the why that goes with the what. So with someone else creating I wont understand the mechanics behind it.
Besides character Gen is one of my 2 favorite things to do in Traveller. :devil:

No problems, I can't lie next to designing starships making characters is pretty darned fun for me too.

Well, when you get the T5 Book or CD you are most welcome to join (after character vetting that is).

And pendragonman, yeah, yeah, I am working on that, but the weekend catch up work load is a bit bigger than expected. Still rest assured I will be getting to it tonight sometime...
