Has anyone else gotten a PDF teaser for T5 from Marc?

I just finished reading mine. As of yesterday morning (the date on the PDF) Marc still appears to have a sense of humor intact.

The skills will represent 1 year of training/experience and will run from skill-0 to skill-15 (with higher values possible).

Tasks will be based on a variable number of D6 rolls from 1D6 for an Easy task to 4D6 for a Formidable task and 8D6 for a Beyond Impossible task.

The base character used for comparing T5 to the other Traveller versions had a skill 4 and an ability score of 7 to give some idea of a “typical” character.

Just sharing my info with the community.

Is that the 3 or 4 page one? If so all you need to do to get a copy is drop Marc an email.

Yes, 3 short PDF files. A skill list, a history of Traveller tasks and an overview of what T5 will include.

I was wondering if anyone else READ it and what impressions they had. Many of the questions being asked about what T5 will be like are answered in very general terms.

I was particularly interested in the side by side comparisons of tasks in all of the different systems. T5 appears to give you a small chance of success for tasks beyond the highest dificulty rating in other systems, but also appears to give a lower chance of success for more common tasks than the other versions of Traveller.
