T5 Forum Policy

I'm posting this since on at least two other forums, there have been complaints about the high handed moderators on COTI dealing with criticism of T5. Since I'm still the moderator of the T5 forum (even now that we are out in the open)... here's my policies (approved by Marc).

If you keep it clean, and stay polite, and don't disparage Marc, I'm pretty tolerant of argument. It was that way with the beta test, and I do not see a reason to change it.

What we all do know about T5 is:

1. T5 as published has some issues. No one here is or will try and hide that.
2. Marc is already working on fixing those issues with help from Rob and I, and a bunch of other people.
3. There's going to be a PDF available for download from DriveThruRPG at some point.
4. The book is going to be available for sale at some point.
5. That plan (#4) includes retail stores, since the offer at traveller5.net says you can get a bit of coinage if you contact Marc with your receipt.
6. Don never gives out dates, even if it will happen tomorrow.
7. Marc has and will take care of all the kickstarter and beta folks. If you feel differently, the address I use for all of my e-mails to Marc is farfuture@gmail.com.
8. There's a lot of misinformation going around about T5. Some of it is being spread by individuals who don't like Marc. I feel bad for them.
9. If you watch COTI and any e-mails from Marc, you're very likely to be more informed than by reading rumors posted elsewhere.

Yes, you can use this thread to comment on this post.

Thanks for clearifying these points!

Does this mean that

a) the DTRPG PDF will be an updated version or the original version that is on the Kickstarter CD?
b) Kickstarter backers will receive an updated version of the PDF or have to re-buy an updated version from (e.g.) DTRPG?

Will the corrected pdf be provided for free to those who just purchased the book?

If there ever is a corrected second printing, is it fair to ask for a discount on it, say, maybe at cost, if a person has already purchased the book?
