T5 draft rules update

Wol

SOC-12
I have looked at the three draft t5 rules on FFE(?). They seem riddled with errors and rather old. Isther a more up to date set available?

cheers
Wol

Those are extremely old, and extremely draft. In fact, I think those are really the T4.1 draft rules. The current draft T5 chargen is unlike these.

Yeah, dem ones on de T5 site are *very* old.....

Dunno about whether a much more recent version is available for us to *see*; Marc/FFE is working on the *actual* T5 draft, but (AFAIK) we aint gonna get to see dat.

Maybe Robject can shed a little more light on that side of your question.

I would love to see how it is going. It would certainly raise interest levels.

cheers

It also raises frustration levels, since an official playtest means the entire draft document is done and ready to be tried out. It ain't.

Send me a PM, though, and let me know if you're interested in something in particular.

So I take it no work on when we'll see this puppy in print. Too bad, I've been looking forward to this.

Thank you for the update. I personally dislike pdf so I'll be picking it up once the printed versions out.

Actually the latest from Marc is late this year for the PDF versions on CDRom and print version probably spring of '08.
.....then the errata pdfs on CD ROM, followed by the print errata..... :file_23: ;)

<Just joshin' with ya....... ;)>

It's much easier if you live in Canada, where "Fair Use" means that you are allowed to print your PDF's (although you aren't allowed to distribute them, since that is copyright violation...)

Of course colour laser printers are now under $250 (Canadian) and I think that you can duplexing (printing on both sides) for a small premuim over that...

I doubt Lulu would let you print it. You might be able to get a place like Kinko's to do it, but they get pissy sometimes...

I would guess it would depend on the blurb in front stating what the author considers fair. If it is OK to print out a copy for yourself I'd bet you could get a private copy done.

I am definitely NOT talking any attempt to violate copyright. My expectation when I buy PDF gaming supplies is the author expects me to print it out and writes the restrictions to match.
