T5 Deck Plans? What do they look like?

Are there any examples of what the T5 Deck Plans will look like, that are available as a purchase option for the new Kickstarter?

I'd like to see an example, or examples of what they'll look like, before I pay for those as an option.

Also, any idea of their size and format too, e.g. separate, fold-out play-mats, PDFs of the deck plans, hard-copies in sizes 8.5" x 11", 17" x 22", etc., etc.?

I got the full set, and the physical are: "Five 22x34 inch blank and white deckplans"

It also came with, at that time, various scaled images in digital format.

They are functional and reminiscent of the earlier Traveller days. My versions had no indications for what was what other than some basic iconography. The paper copies could be used for 15mm gaming, but the scales per deckplan are not the same in order to fit the larger ships.

edit: physical copies are folded, so there are creases. Personally I wish they were rolled but I would imagine that would be more costly. My ancient Spinward Marches map was folded, and the creases, after almost 40 years, are looking pretty bad.

Note that the deck plan squares are 12.5mm, not 15, which is annoying.

Thanks for the replies and info.

I was hoping perhaps they might be upgraded to the high-quality, full-color, deckplans I've seen of some vessels produced by others for the last 10 - 20 years. Some of those are superb.

Actually, after re-reading the Kickstarter, I'm not sure if the Deck Plans of the vessels will even be included with this, since the KS ad mentions "This edition describes them in detail....".

It goes on to state that the deck plans were originally issued with the "Big Black Book".

Here's the info in full from the KS ad:

"The Deck Plans were originally issued with the Big Black Book. This edition describes them in detail based on the Ship Design System, and we find they are a great resource for adventures

Add the Deck Plans to your Pledge for $20".

So, does anyone know definitively if this KS will include the actual fold-out deckplans, or just the description of the vessels, if you pay the additional $20 for them?

I'd hate to pay $20 for just a description of them, since I have the CT copies already, in small format.

After re-reading I am absolutely sure that it is the full plan pack and not a wierd description of said pack. if you wants Marc's direct answer select one of the kickstarter updates and ask this question in the questions thread. He is reading and directly responding there.
