T20 Fan Websites

Greetings!

First let me just say that T20 is phenominal! Not just in size but in content. Well done indeed.

The first thing I went for of course were the vehicle/ship design rules and started cranking out ships. Wow! I can write up a ship in about as much time as I could with HG! Converting old designs was a snap. :D

Here I have all these fine designs in my little gaming notebook just waiting to be shared.
I would like to post them to my website, but my question is this (for Hunter et al.) What is the legalese needed that I would post on my homepage? I have 2 paragraphs right now for both FarFuture and SJG.

Thanks,

I think the minimum would be to put up the d20 liscense that you can get copies of on the web and the d20 logo and the T20 logo. MAke sure the liscense is CLEARLY marked so it can be seen.
Also, make sure and say the designs are Open gaming MAterial. That means anyone can use them, just so you know.

Follow all the rules for that. I.E. from the THB, you can post the designs you create with the design sequence, but you can't tell how you did it.

Follow the FAIR use rules that Marc Miller has established for fan based material.

Put links back to T20 and MArc's pages etc. But that's kind of a given.

That's just off the top of my head.
I am sure Hunter might have some more elaboration on this.

Okay, from what I've seen on D&D sites they just link the OGL from their home page. I can also state on each design that "This is Open Gaming Material" aso with a link to the OGL.

Right, I know about that part. GURPS has it the same way. Show vehicle/ship stats but not how you made it.

Done.

Thanks. I think I have a pretty good idea for a legal paragraph in my 'small print' section. I'll post it here so Hunter and co. can look at it, make corrections, etc. and also for anyone else who is putting together fan sites.

"T20, d20 Traveller are trademarks of QuikLink Interactive, Inc.(link to T20/QLI page). d20, d20 system are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast(Wizards link). Parts of this website are Open Gaming Content (OGL link)."

QUERIES

1. Where is the online site policy regarding Traveller or other intellectual properites owned by Far Future Enterprises and Marc Miller?

2. When contributing your own original OGC material on the web page, how do you update Section 15 of your Open Gaming License? Do you put the title of the web page or just the title of the OGC?
