T20 Empress Marava or Garu class merchants?

There was the "Maru" class merchant from FASA's Adventure Class Ships Volume 1, which was a 500-ton cargo hauler, and an ugly one at that. I don't recall a "Garu" offhand.

Hey Jewels the Garu Class Fartrader Deck plans are in the Megatraveller Journal #4. (out of print). The Stats are identical, The Deckplans are almost the same, and the Exterior is much better looking.

Deckplans for the Garu are available at:

The Garu is also the main ship in DGP's Flaming Eye campaign book. The book has full colour deckplans and lots of exterior pictures of the Garu.
I've looked at the deckplan at mu.org and I'm not sure if it's the same as the one in Flaming Eye, some of the details look a little different.....
The Marava and the Garu can be used interchangably. You can use them as two different designs from competing companies or treat the Garu as a more modern version of the Marava.

actually the Existing (published) deck plans
are more of in the 400 ton range. the one that tanuki posted a link to is mad to more accurate displacement.
I am thinking of using the existing plans and just comming up with stats for them.... hey i think it might be cool to have a 400 ton far trader.

a fairly basic set of A2 plans in 2m scale can be found in "Guilded Lily", for TNE. Not my favorite set of plans, but they ARE the right size...
