Heya
In general, how strict are people about base sizes and mounting models on stands for use in Striker?
I understand the need for organizing troops into stands of several models to abstract troop movement and coherency, but I'm reluctant to model figures directly onto bases as I'd like to use them for other games where they'd need to function seperately from each other. My current plan is to make 30mm sized bases with magnets and plop individual figures on them - that way I can reconfigure the squads at will and not have to remodel the bases at all and can use the individual models for other things.
Also, has anyone tried playing Striker on a small scale without "stands" and instead deploy the models individually, with home brew squad coherency rules?
Any info would help, thanks.
