Welcome to the new COTI server. We've moved the Citizens to a new server. Please let us know in the COTI Website issue forum if you find any problems.
We, the systems administration staff, apologize for this unexpected outage of the boards. We have resolved the root cause of the problem and there should be no further disruptions.
Border and alligence changes I would guess.
updates for post war Naval postings and perhaps some added commentary on Imperial ground units
Relief effort data on ravaged worlds(IIR: Emerald and Efate)
Perhaps economic considerations due to the altered frieght shipping now that large amounts of cargo might be routed to zones recovering from the war.
I did not see them as "omitting" it so much as they have gone back to before it and will re-present it in coming products.
MInd you, I could be completely wrong and they could go another way entirely.
But if I am correct in recalling, MGT is currently in 1105 and the FFW really did not begin in ernest until Zho forces moved into the Ruie System enroute the siege of the Regina system in 1107.
Whatever the units that were spotted in the Ruie System around 179-1107[*] were, they weren't a full battle fleet (despite being reported as such), and they weren't on their way to Regina. They weren't big enough to rate a mention in the writeup of the war in The Spinward Marches Campaign, and Regina was never besieged by the Zhodani[**].
[*] Report reached Regina on 186-1107, so the report must have left the Ruie System somewhere around 179-1107.
[**] The only canonical evidence of Zhodani at Regina was a TNS newsbrief about a press conference that was interrupted by a Zhodani bombardment, and that could have been a misunderstanding or a bad joke on the part of the reporter.
