Tramp Liner M-BS11 TL10 MCr39
Using 200 ton streamlined hull, the TL10 Tramp Liner and ships liker her are designed to service the fringes of known space where ships are infrequent and travellers sometimes desperate.
Mounting Generic Jump, Maneuver and Power Plants -A gives the ship a performance of Jump-1 and 1G accelleration. Standard fittings in the cargo bay include a collapsable 24 ton fuel cell giving the ship extended power duration and the ability to perform 2 Jump-1's in a row. The ship is equipped with Fuel Scoops for skimming and liquid handling systems for fueling from nearby lakes and streams. Many Captains make installation of a fuel purification plant a priority, however some do not care.
Standard crew compliment is 5, a Pilot, Astrogator, Engineer, Steward, and Medic, but it is not unusual to find someone pulling double or triple duty. Adjacent to the somewhat small bridge is a generic Model 1 Computer.
There are 20 passenger staterooms and 8 low berths. 'Luxury' life support is not provided and the quarters are cramped, but Captains will readily accept your High Passage ticket for a trip offworld. With the extra fuel tanks collapsed the cargo hold is 51 tons.
The ship is nominally unarmed but many Captains will find some turrets to put on the ship's two hardpoints. The only normal ship's craft is an Air/Raft tied down in the cargo bay.
