Ship design code

I have a ship design saved in a .txt file. I would like to post it here for feedback, how do I copy it over keeping spacing? I see in Robject's posts where it says Code: and then has the design in a table but I have no idea how it is done. Is there a way of viewing raw posts so I can learn these little tricks by example?

Above the text box you use to compose your post, is a bunch of icons. The one with a hash image is the "code" button. To use it, cut n paste your ship design in, select that text and hit the code button. It will surround it with tags.

To see an example, select "quote" on this post.

Code:
stuff
Another option is to pick a monospace font for the ship text from the selection available. A quick google will help identify one to your taste.

And use the "Post Reply " button, not the "Quick Reply" option .

Yes, [code]stuff[/code] tags are the proper way... but there's an as yet undocumented [pre]stuff[/pre] which doesn't do the box.

examples:
[code]stuff[/code]
Code:
stuff

[pre]stuff[/pre]
stuff
