If you're happy with what's in the book then check out this post from Jamie Chambers about GM screen and deck plans coming next month: RPG Net post

Oh yes! They're lovely. I'm sure I've seen them before but I'd forgotten about them. It's a nice balance. Not too photographic (like mine) so that they print clearly but not so simple that they are dull to look at. Very similar to what Paul Lesack does, I think.

Ahh, that'll be the Ryan Wolfe that's in the Serenity rpg credits then  ;)

I hope he does a few more - for both Serenity and Future Armada.

Didn't want to start a new thread for this, so I thought I'd tag it on to the end of this one.

I've just been studying the Serenity ship-building rules. Heavens, they're sweet! The ship is treated like a character and even has the same stats as PCs (though interpreted differently, naturally). I really like that idea. Anything that makes the ship feel like part of the group and not just another piece of equipment is just dandy in my book. They're very vague on volumes too which gives the deckplan designer a lot more freedom to be creative with space.

I'm liking this a lot!

That's very muhc like most d20 rules for vehicles/starships. T20 is a little unusual in that respect - most games figured that if you had already taken the time to learn how a character works, then making the starships interact in the same ways (at least for combat) made sense too.

Dear Folks -

Bummer. I guess that's where the missing Droyne paper figures have gone.

OTOH, I think that giving quirks to a PC's ship is a good idea. I've seen a few old articles and tables that use the idea, an which suggest that a baulky old ship can be used as yet another type of Push to steer adventures.

Does anyone on here know how applicable those Armada plans are to Traveller d20? I mean, do the deckplan tonnages come out close to correct, or at least close enough to punt?

Always looking form more deckplans for my T20 game...

Well each square is five feet per side, which is pretty close to a 1.5m square ;)

If you assume that fuel is in the dead space the plans don't show then you can easily use them for Traveller IMHO.

^ Awesome site, Crow. Cut and pasted a few deckplans, or as the Browncoats call them, layouts! Keep encouraging them to be creative, it may spill out into the OTU if we're lucky!
