Seattle, WA

SOC-12
A trio of us gather on alternating Tuesdays in West Seattle to play old-school RPGs. We've been playing The Fantasy Trip, but our GM for that is a tax preparer who has to go on hiatus for the next few months. I'd like to run a classic Traveller game in the interim, if we can hunt up another player or two.

We're a "mature" group, ages 40+, longtime RPGers. Relaxed atmosphere with beer and pizza. Two cats and a small dog in the house. Nostalgia is the order of the day -- we frequently play with old dice and ugly, misshapen miniatures made from real lead. If that sounds like your kind of group, or you just want to play some CT, send a note.

What a bummer - for me that is...:nonono:

I've been watching for just such an opportunity in the area (I live out towards Stevens Pass) and just when my schedule gets slammo'd...

Hopefully you'll pick some interested guys... I know there's one of us over on the east side (can't remember his name at the moment), and another one in past me (met him on another board).

But in the interim... keep me in mind if something opens up this summer, maybe... (yeah, right... just my luck...:smirk:)

Haulin' Freight...

Stevens Pass to West Seattle and back is quite a haul for an RPG, but if your schedule lightens up ...

Steve

Actually it isn't... I work in the Southcenter area - so W Seattle isn't that far off (except for the schedule... We'll see what it looks like in June... it won't change any sooner than that... ):(

My brother and i might be interested in a ct (or other game), I live in arlington, but I am used to the arlington/seattle commute and my brother lives in bot hell.

We're off Traveller again at this point anyway, and on to other things. I'll swing back the next time we visit the Imperium.

Seattle WA

I like the ID Building as well. Its a nice shift from the norm here in Seattle. Plus its going to an area that needs some height. Hopefully itll start a trend

Hi Steve (or anyone in the greater Seattle area),

Anyone running a Traveller (preferably CT) game anymore that I could potentially get in on as a player?

Thank you

Nothing's happening at my end of town that I'm aware of. Work duties would prevent me from getting into another game now anyway.

NW_Paul,

I've not seen much in the offering of 'round-the-table games lately. What are you looking for? PM me and we'll talk outside the thread here. Looking forward to hearing back:o

Hey guys! new poster here.

I've never actually played traveller before, but I'm really interested. I live on first hill, right by the hospitals. I don't drive, so I can't get too far, but if anybody knows of anything or has an open spot, I'd love to get involved in this!

thanks!
