Salmaan is a Traveller, a professional adventurer. Naturally, this is highly sought after, so it's perhaps fortunate that he worked for the 3rd Imperium for three of his four terms (at least for some). In his second term he helped by helping set up the computer security systems for a fledgling colony on the frontier.
