Route Protector

Using some guidelines regarding gravitic versus maneuver drives, I've come up with a hybrid ship design. "Hybrid" here means "I don't know what some of the parts are going to be".

The Route Protector is meant to be a Gazelle variant which uses a slightly modular frame, which allows it to operate like a Patrol Cruiser.

Interesting. What tech?

The concept makes me think Milleu 400, patrolling the Starlane and keeping the route to Terra and Dingir safe from pirates and reivers.

Yeah, good point, I wasn't explicit with performance. The goal was to emulate the Gazelle performance-wise in general: so it can do Maneuver-4 a Jump-4 with two fuel modules, or Maneuver-5 and Jump-5 with two L-HYD droptanks. The Gig, meanwhile, can pull a respectable 10 Gs.

So it's at least TL14.

Here's the TL12 Jump-3 model for the missions you're thinking of, assuming the PA barbettes don't change price. Also, note that the armor won't be as effective (perhaps 80%), so you may want to up-armor the craft more.
