Retrying to enter a career

I notice that in 5.09, there don't seem to be any careers which allow one to retry entering, at least not explicitly. In 5.0, the Scout seems to do so. I wonder if this was intentionally dropped for some reason, maybe because it didn't fit with the ethos of the game?

Just curious, as I've been doing quite a bit of character generation lately.

Only explicit retry I could find quickly:

05 SCOUT
Roll 6 or less to Begin
_ Retry vs C5

Yes, that's the only one. Lots of other careers have automatic entry depending on pre-requisites. Merchant is auto if you enter as a trainee.
