So what's the story with these guys from Shadows?
Has anyone (canonically or otherwise) expounded upon these snake munching esthetes whose overcompensation with pest control seems slightly suspicious.

When we played it and found the coins (coyns???) and knife, my astute fellow players figured these guys were not the Ancients or Droyne, but must have mugged a Drone on the way to Yorbund.

Thoughts? Idle Speculations? Revelations of Truth?

There is a follow-up adventure somewhere on the web re the pyramid aliens. It is set over the in Zho core mission territory. Think it was called deep shadows. It was completly fan written so has no official status.

It's a bit of an epic, Zhodani going to the core, hostile Droyne and Vargr interlopers. The author (Mike Mikesh) does some interesting backgrounding for the Pyramid Aliens. Worth a look. Hits my happy spots.

It references DGP's MT Aliens 3: Zhodani and Droyne. Probably it was backburnered when DGP ceased supporting MegaTraveller.
