I'm using my sector generator script, unmodified. I reparsed the data files a bit (setting the routes and border/region colors, etc.) and then after the pdf was generated, I stripped out the blank subsector data and map pages. The description is an optional section that the script generates if toggled. Take a peek at the 'Web Sector Generator' thread for a view of the script's lifespan-to-date.
My software basically combines James Perkins'
SW4 (gensec, subsec, mapsub) and JGreely's
sec2pdf (borders, routes and labels), as well as Paul Netherwood's
full-upp for world descriptions and Traveller rules in perl by Joshua Bell and Paul at Signal GK for route/border calculations and animal and cargo data. It's designed to provide a print-ready, canon-style Classic Traveller sector with relevant data for gaming.
