Project: The Regina Subsector Campaign

Hey Everybody!

I'm working up a Detached Scout campaign set in the Regina subsector I'm thinking about posting here on CotI for everyone's amusement. Scavenger Hunt/Race to get the Artifact(s) type of thing. Since I'll be modifying a few of the canon adventures, I'll probably only post my notes of the changes I made so I don't get into any copyright problems. Unfortunately, that means if you don't own the adventure, it might not be much use to some people.

I picked up a travel organizer on clearance at the bookstore and I'm going to use that to... 'spruce-up' the worlds, I guess. There's a Reality Check section that I'm going to post some here for a good laugh:

In train stations, youth hostels, and other places where preoccupied travelers gather, anything you can't feel or see directly at all times is about to be or has already been stolen.

You may feel like a local but, as far as scam artists and pickpockets are concerned, everything about you screams cash-bearing tourist.

The local police may have a bias - in some countries a strong bias - toward their fellow citizens. Tread lightly.

Those are just some of them.

I'm going to start slow. One adventure at a time - one world at a time. Has anyone else tackled this?

EDIT: P.S. Which forum would this go in?

Don't forget the Regina Startown project on JTAS, which gives you a well detailed setting with locations, NPCs (and PCs for those who need them), adventures, rumours, and even a newspaper! There's also an article briefly describing all the worlds within 6 parsecs of Regina, and articles and adventures for some of them (Roup, Ruie, Forboldn, Extolay, Grant); plus a couple of other Regina-based articles.

May be useful.
