Printing problems TA#2

I think it might have to do with the fancy graphics that make up the border, but I can't get the .pdf file to print. My home printer does not have enough memory to do anything besides the title page in one shot, so I tried printing from the printer at work, and it always comes back with a printer error (even when trying just one page). :(

(BTW, the .pdf of the T20-Lite rules printed fine, only a couple pages overflowed the memory of my home printer. I would suggest the future issues of the Traveller's Aide have less graphics - they look nice, but they don't print well)

I think we'll do as someone suggested in another thread and leave the bordering off of the print version for future issues, but keep it two-column.

Michael,

...have you tried printing in Raster? Basically it sends the graphics 'line by line' which allows for printers with shallow memory to print out intense items.

When you're attempting to print, assuming you're using a windows system, just do file, then print, and a window comes up, hit the properties from there, and check the various tabs for anything relating to print quality (normally it's just a tab called Print Quality, but I don't know what printer you have, so it's not safe to assume as much).
Anyhow, if you put it into raster mode it should give you a better chance at printing the TA out.
