Positronic Aging

Frindur

SOC-3
Acordingt to p.565 Positronic Brain are subject to aging.
Can someone point me to where I find infos how this Positronic Aging works?

i think the meaning is that the brain can learn new skills just like a normal brain does.

No, it has something to do with the lifespan.

"Organic and semi-organic brains age at the same rate as their patterns. Clone brains are subject to Clone aging, Positronic brains are subject to Positronic aging"

Normal (brain) aging is on p97, clone aging is described on p97 and p121, but nothing as to what Positronic aging is. I assume the brain wears out eventually but when playing with various robot designs I could not find a mention as to the lifespan or effects.

I never bothered going line by line to find an answer, as AI robots (positronic brains) are Tech 16, but it's nice to know some of the niggling problems I encounter are not just me being pedantic. :)

I didn't think positronic was TL-16, i couldn't find any reference to the various types of brains tied to any particular TL. I took AI to mean that if you create a robot at that TL then it is for all intents and purposes a full blown character or at least has the potential to be.
