This came to me while reading the Referee Fiat thread. I never even though of them!
For me jump space was just empty. Does anyone have any other sources or favorite pocket universes?
I am not sure how the Dyson sphere universe got there or if there will be any native civilization or structures. As you dig down/out you dig into rock and stuff until the temp starts to rise until you reach a magma layer so that you can have plate tectonics and regular geologic processes. On the edge of the universe the temperature becomes hotter and hotter until it dissolves. On the subject of where does all that heat go? Just don't ask...
