Player looking for game, Bay Area, CA.

I recently moved to the Bay Area, Castro Valley, specifically, and am looking for a game. It's been a while since i played CT, so i am hoping to find/join a game that would continue for a long time to come.

I'm hoping to find a CT game, but i am willing to play the others. I am also interested in playing in a Gamma World game as well, if, of course, an opportunity presents itself.

FYI: I own some of the CT: Classic Traveller material, some Mongoose Traveller material, ALL CGW: Classic Gamma World material, and ALL WFRP(both editions) material.

I am also willing to run said games, or take turns running said games.

Wished you lived closer, Blue Ghost. I'd love to begin an adventurous game that could last for years.

I'm going to be running a CT game at the Convention in May, San Francisco(?). If anyone is interested, let me know and i will give more details. After playing in DunDreCon, i will endeavor to attend and Game Master every Convention within a few hours of the Bay Area. This would include running CT, CGW, and WFRP.

Okay now, i'm going to send another signal into the 'verse' with the hopes of finding other players looking for a campaign that could last for years.

If you've got a meeting somewhere in San Francisco, then I'm willing to travel up there. Right now I'm drivig a 20 year old car on fixed income. I really can't afford to drive off to the east bay like I used to years back.

Keep us posted.

Where you located? Perhaps we can figure something out.

Okay. Keep in mind i moved up here the beginning of the year, and even though i know what peninsula means, i'm not familiar enough with the bay area to determine where exactly that is. Throw me a city or a zip code and i will google it. Thanks, and hopefully we can get this to work. I, as of right now, have two player/GM's ready to go, and any more in attendance would be great.

Consider me to live in San Francisco.

My schedule may get busy in the next month, so let me know what you want to set up.

I have no one in San Francisco set to play in a campaign. I wouldnt mind Gm'ing if you dont mind hosting. I can always BART it there, driving if need be, depending on the day, or course. Let me know.

Well, things just got simple and complicated all at once, so I'll have to bow out.

Good luck with your search. Happy gaming :)

I'm all the way down in Santa Clara and starting a game of my own.

Castro Valley is a bit of a hike, so I wish you good luck getting your group up and running. :)

I just got a new job, which means income, which means gas money, so I can do the Traveller thing again.

Keep me advised as to which one of you guys would like an extra player. :)

I'm willing to GM and/or play a long-term Traveller campaign once a week. I'm pretty flexible on which day and hours(i prefer 6 or more hours per session). Only thing i cant do is host, so if someone has a game going or wants me to GM a game, someone else has to host. This is not to say that i can host down the road, it's just at this time, i can not.

Please note: I have plenty of Traveller CT material, and a few of the new Traveller MT books. I'm willing to purchase more if the latter version is chosen, for I have no real preference on which system we play.
Please also note that i am willing to GM a WFRP (Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay) campaign of either 1st or 2nd ed. I have everything ever printed, including unoffical material, that could easily give us years of campaigning goodness.

My preference: I am even willing to make a day of it and run Traveller half of a day, and WFRP the other half of the day, one day a week. Just know that whether we play one system or the other, or preferrable, both, my interest is in long-term campaigns, only.

For either or both games, i am willing to run small(3 player) parties to large(10 player) parties. Only limitation on the amount of players would be by the individual hosting/space availability.

Let me know. Hope to hear from you both, and anyone else on this site as well.

Hey folks, I sent my email to toth via PM, but I haven't heard anything from anybody else. Let me know if you still want to do the Traveller thing or not.

Keep me posted.

Hey chshrkt, do you need another player? I'm up for a session if you're willing to have me.

Otherwise, happy gaming.

I'm still in. Keep me posted.

My home right now isn't suitable for hosting. I need to fix up a few things. But, I can certainly travel northwards if you're willing to host, or have someone near you who's also willing.

There's also a group called the South Bay Gaming Club, but they normally host out of San Jose. That's pretty far for you.
