Player Databases integrated with google maps

I thought I'd share this with others who are looking for games or players: two player finder websites with map function.

(Nearbygamers seems to be down as I write, but generally it's almost as good as pen & paper.)

I'm on the penandpapergames site under the same name, and will be moving to the Oakland/San Francisco area in a few months. I have family up there. If anyone is in the area and looking for players or a DM, feel free to contact me, even now if you wish, and we can plan on some future Traveller games. Hope to hear from many gamers from this site.

I'm on nearbygamers. The tag system is a little wonky because if you type a game differently it keeps adding new ones so there was a group of us cleaning it up before my laptop went bust.

But if you're looking for games, try different variants.

Example:

Traveller (Mongoose)
MGT
Classic Traveller
CT

etc...

Odd. It works fine for me. You might want to check to make sure you have the necessary plug-ins.

Seems the time of day makes a difference. I did get on and i do like the site, it could be a bit faster though. Still, good site for looking for gamers. Will definitely be using it. Thanks for your suggestion, Kilgs.

Good sites. Shame they just confirmed I seem to be the only RPG player in a 70 mile radius!

Looks like it's online or not at all for me.
