Plans for updating book2 or 3?

Are there any plans for updating the 2 other books or was Characters and Combat thought to be in serious need of revision?

As I understand it, they're losing the Traveller license (since it's been given to Mongoose), so in order to continue publishing the game, they need to remove the "traveller specific" stuff from the system.
