Pay scales

I have tried to find pay scales for other careers than merchants. Are there any canonical information in any of the books? I can't find any.

The pay scales for mercs are in book4 if that is of any help.

Retirement pay is also available. But as far as what a person can earn doing mundane tasks? IN the THB it has, under skills various pay scales. Entertainer, Professional, Prospecting, Hunting Guide, and Technical all have pay scales. Being a Broker is obviously Commissioned Based and a Professional Gambler, well.....

Most Player Characters wind up collecting pay based on starship pay charts or Mercenary pay charts (Which I thought should be in the THB or the TGP for those starting out with T20 and not having the old LBBs.).

Of all the books I have been able to gather I haven't managed to get Book 4. But doesn't the payscale there work for mercs and not for regular Imperial marines?

Post back to here with whatever you develop (and mention which system it was done for, because GT:Credits aren't the same as CT/MT:Credits, etc.).

Look at my site (link below) in the house rules section. I have come up with sallaries for the 3/4 main careers for Traveller (Navy, Scout and Marine/Army).

I don't understand the chart on your website at: Pay Scales.

It lists a column of pay for Officers, but then also for Ensigns.

If I'm forced to guess, I think the chart should mention Officers and Enlisted (not Ensign).

I think the pay rates for the Admiralty of the IN is far too low, but other than that, as reference, it is pretty interesting.

I wonder how it will compare to the new Grand Fleet's pay scales?

Doh, of course it should say enlisted. It has been corrected now.
