Unexpected Barony

I am now Sir Drakon of Slath,

located in the Setten subsector of Fornash (M, 0535).

Prior to receiving my book, Marc had announced he would process Paypal accounts first. Considering the herculean magnitude of the job he ended up with, who could blame him? But I did not have a paypal account and my birthday was coming up. So I sent Marc a plea, begging if he could bump me up the list.

Just prior to my birthday, the package arrived including the previously mentioned knighthood.

Fast forward to yesterday. A second package shows up. A second book, and cards. Apparently, the universe, and Imperial beaucracy, for once in quite some time, messed up in my favor. Contacting Marc, his comment can be summed up by "Sometimes mistakes turn out fine."

The inscription reads "To Harry, now Sir Harry of Tsamis, and henceforth BARON LEMISH, in the Corridor. Serve the Empire well! Strephon, Emperor" One card identifies its bearer as Knight of the Solomani Rim, the second, Baron of the Third Imperium.

Lemish is the subsector capital in the Corridor sector, and home port for the 60th and 105th fleet. Recent history shows the Vargr have been causing problems, and some still patrol the system.

Hmmm... what happened to the last Baron?

P.S. Wife has taken the second TAS card and insists I call her my Lady or Baroness.

I didn't get the world I requested (Caladbolg, Spinward Marches). Instead, I am

Sir Art Gorski
Gushemege 1612 Booce D899476-7

Seems pleasant enough in a bucolic sort of way.

TAS membership: Deneb 1923 Liran B0008B8-A

Perhaps as a consolation prize for not quite winning the Low Lottery (got my $100 pledge level stuff today), I also got

Baron of the Third Imperium
Corridor 3030 Betters DA87544-5

Another bucolic setting, on the Core side of the Rift.

Imaah Chehesti, Knight on Vland 1638 Twana
Imaah Chehesti, Vicountess on Spinward Marches 1910 Regina.

Presumably the Duke of Regina wanted a very loyal vassal on Regina that he could count on to put up a good fight when that's what was needed. Or go drinking with. :)

That leaves the intermediate estates for the ranks of Baronet, Baron and Marquis undetermined.

For fun roleplaying reasons, I decided on a Baronetcy on Aramis/Junidy, a Barony on Mora/Byret, and a Marquisate on Regina/Efate, all in the Spinward Marches.

Junidy and Efate have had ongoing rebellions on them as listed in the canon, and my own character write-up for Imaah Chehesti lists another one on Byret.
See http://www.travellerrpg.com/CotI/Discuss/showthread.php?t=22013 for details on that one.

Hmmm. The rulebook example is for Regina and shows the ranking noble for Regina is a Viscount.

Wonder what planet Duke Norris Aledon is Duke of? I always thought it was Regina.

Soon to be Arch Duke of Deneb, Duke of the Spinward Marches, Count of Regina Subsector, Viscount of Regina by grace of his Imperial Majesty, etc etc Knight of something or other? They do seem to stack after all.

The family position is Subsector Duke, not planetary Duke. He was then appointed to the Sector position and, long after he claimed it under emergency conditions, confirmed in the Archduke position for the Domain.

So where do I find the QR code? I don't even know what QR means! So where is the URL?

A QR, or Quick Response, code is a square block of seemingly-random black and white squares placed where one can scan it with a smartphone's camera running the appropriate software. QR codes can lead to a website with information, or a coupon, or to order items, depending on how the company wants them to behave.

In this case, the codes are on the backs of the cards; TAS's is in the upper left, the Patents' are in the upper right. The links:

TAS: http://www.traveller5.net/TASCard.html
Patent: http://www.traveller5.net/NobilityCard.html

I did not get any cards with my book. Please explain in detail what I am supposed to do to get this information.

Edit: I found the Patent of Nobility but there was supposed to be a TAS card too...
