Patent of Nobility Card (where are you?)

I just got my package today.
I am Created Duke of Glisten Spinward Marches 2036 A000986-F

The Knighthoods went to my sons Jared and Gregory, both also at Glisten

Traveller's Aid society membership for Gary Seebo from Deneb 1128 Dekha C100A9A-F

Given that Glisten is the start-up world for most adventure I did, now I know who to blame;). Since my land grant is Rethe, I am afraid I won't be on Glisten often anymore...

Congratulation your Grace.

Do you intend to use the Gurp write-up on that world or what other?

Selandia
Count of the Spinward marches, Lord Rethe

I should also be a Duke of Glisten. That's what I requested, but a couple of my cards were misprinted. From back on page 2 of this thread (with new notes):

Sir Stedan Sevile: Spin 2336 Bendor (as requested)
Sir Stedan Sevile: Empt 1734 Dyani (unknown reason)
Knight of the Third Imperium: Spin 3015 Belizo (unknown reason)
Count of the Spinward Marches: Spin 2036 Glisten (unknown reason)
Duke of the Spinward Marches: Spin 3124 Mora (Not requested. Rank and Sector is correct, but only makes sense after the Matriarchy of Mora ends)
Count Duke Stedan of Glisten: Olde 0621 Etpur (two ranks, wrong system)
Duke Duke Stedan of Glisten: Spin 2036 Glisten (double print of rank, but otherwise as requested)

Marc included a brief note explaining the "nobility making machine messed up" and the last two aren't right. I don't want to bother Marc with it now, it's totally not a priority. But I'm thinking that Duke of the Spinward Marches, Mora, is more problematic, and what I should actually have is:

Sir Stedan Sevile: Spin 2336 Bendor (homeworld)
Duke Stedan of Glisten: Spin 2036 Glisten
(with maybe the ability to give out Count of SM Glisten?)

Howdy, neighbor. I'm just coreward of you, Duke of Strouden, in the Lunion subsector.

And, I'd just like to say that Dekha is an awesome world. In its subsector, it is second only to Vincennes. It rivals Deneb and Atsah in terms of its economy.

In that I had supported the kickstarter at the imperial Duke level, I had requested Duke of the vincennes subsector based at Dekha where I would be the imperial foil keeping the lords of Vincennes in check. (see the landgrab entries for Vincennes).

Or, you know, the book. The high nobility of Deneb Sector are a nasty, divided bunch.

Where is this information?

Gurp Traveller have a planetary supplement for Glisten. Adv 4 Leviathan have a very little bit. There may be other Canons, but I do not know them henceforth my question. There is the non canonical Landgrab that one may want to use, also part of my question.

have fun

Marquis Shirg

The cards that came with the noble edition book are:
Marquis of the Imperial Core / Core 2602 Sagaku
Sir John Lambert (my name) / Core / Shirg
TAS: Bearer / Core 1626 Shirg
In addition there is an inscription in the book that reads:
"Sir John, henceforth Marquis Shirg. Rule your new world well! Stephan"
I need to check with Marc to see if the noble card should be for Shirg.
BTW: Shirg is B6337C9-B, not too bad!
I appear to be one of the few Marquis; I had requested that title.

The cards that came with my second book are:
Knight of the Solomani Rim / Solo 3204 Rith
TAS: Bearer / Forn 1637 Foote

Note that much more accurate system data is currently available from travellermap.com, updated for T5.

Also, most of the Mongoose Traveller setting books used the T5SS data as well.

So, between those two sources, you would probably have the most updated and accurate OTU data available for 1105.

I am Sir Paladin Warlock a Knight of the Dauni system in Dagushad subsector grid 2020
I am also Viscount of Asii in Dagushad subsector grid 1928

I do not have my card with me but, I intend to write up my planet completely myself.

Oh it is a backwater place that "E" starport, but I will design it out as a location of a colony setup. I will flush out the total system and figure out what will happen over the next 30 years on the world with it's developement.

The family will be benevolent in there rule and will try to make the world self sufficient in nature so it can support itself. I might also plan out how the planets developement growth would happen over the next 100+ years using the Rebellion and then the Great Collapse, the Virus Plague would have had no effect on them other than making them totally do it themselves on their own. I believe if the society was properly setup and managed it could climb the tech ladder again if it was motivated.

NOTE: At the time of the Virus collapse, the Head of the Family was a Research Genetics Scientist that has discovered some new yet untested Genetics breakthroughs that would alter mankind's genetic code and help to create a new strain of mankind. So when the people of this world reach the stars again they will be a slightly new strain of mankind. So has been born the Allinnarr, ruled by the House Corrella.

Woo-hoo. Strephon recognized me as a Duke (Agdarmi / Deneb 1340 - lovely little world). That trumps the blank Barony warrant I have kicking around somewhere, which I'm saving for an emergency.

Apparently, I also did something I've forgotten on Kirn (Zarushagar 3020) and was knighted. That's a much less hospitable world... must have been exciting!

Savage's Worlds

Received the Box yesterday. The videos don't do it justice. The T5 book is marvelous. If only I had time to start reading. Ok I've thumbed through it ...Marc is going to fix a couple missing bits in my package. No worries there.

I fall into the crowd of individuals who did not get their requested worlds. This is one of the TBDs. I'm sure something can be worked out.

What I received for now;
Count of the Spinward Marches 2715 Porozlo A867A74-B
Sir John C Savage ANTA 2535 Ngimi A510113-C
Purchased my TAS on LISH 2836 Keshi E99A57A-6 (former capital of the Chanestin Kingdom. Not sure why an E port has TAS)

Ngimi looks like corporate interests...fun stuff. Porozlo is interesting. Billions of subjects.

Two worlds

You sure? I thought Chanestin was rimward of Sylea.

(Visits Traveller Map)

Yep. Another world named Keshi, at Core 1938.

That would make more sense. Not too worried about it. I figure that when your passing through a system and receive a TAS membership, it is registered to that system not your homeworld.
I saw this on the travellermap earlier today.

Porozlo is a world that has just recently "recovered" from being an Amber Zone. It is a balkanized world of over 200 states, politically aligned and divided into two "blocs" of Free Trade vs. Private Ownership. The tensions have been historically high, and the world is euphemistically called by mercenaries "War World".

BTW, I am right next to you:

Count Richard Elruinn Rhovanion - SPIN 2716 Rhylanor A434934-F
Sir Richard - SPIN 2716 Rhylanor A434934-F
Knight of the Iridium Throne - CORE 2419 Sevan A544576-A
TAS: Richard Elruinn Rhovanion - SPIN 2716 Rhylanor A434934-F

I'd be happy to take Porozlo off of your hands and add it to my domains, if the Land Grant does not suit. :)

Howdy neighbor. I'll keep the offer in mind. You received a nice tidy land grant.

Thanks for the history Whulorigan I was reading about it yesterday. I'm probably why it's come out of Civil War. I do like the idea of Porozlo tens of billions of subjects can be an interesting environment.

I will be fascinated to learn how Marc Miller plans to reconciled a balkanized (i.e. no central government) world with over 200 states with an Imperial noble governance.

Perhaps the Count of Porozlo is also Grand Cham of one of those over 200 nations. Though that wouldn't give him any authority over the other over 200 less one nations.

It would seem to me, that if the basic philosophy of the Imperial Noble System has not changed, that a balkanized world would probably not be assigned a Noble Representative who is a native of the world itself, but rather it would be assigned to an outsider, so as to keep the Noble as distant from any one faction of local politics as possible (as he is merely the Imperial Representative to the system, not the system ruler). I am sure this is how GT: Nobles would do it, but then (as has been mentioned elsewhere), Marc is apparently not overly sanguine about the information in GT: Nobles.
