I have never liked the OTU K'Kree and have changed them in MTU. In this case, I must completely agree with Rancke. I'm not a fan of horse meat to begin with.

War is war, but I'm a bit prudish about having sentients for the dinner plate. Reminds me of a Twilight Zone or Outer Limits episode, "How to Serve Humans".

Actually we do...the G'Naak. They are the very reason the K'Kree are the way they are.

Just saying.
 
I've got a Count of the Imperial Core (Lia) and Knight of Deneb (Pikha). The latter gives me a world that's better off than the former.

So does one take residence in the prestigious Core, or the more advanced/developed world towards the Marches?

Hmph, titles. Who can figure 'em, eh?

Dunno. I had it in Italy once. Tasted fine to me.

But then, I've also had barbecued kangaroo and crocodile, and ostrich burgers from the Borough Market.

Not sure about Elephant, though. "Hi, just shot an elephant. We're having a barbie."

Horse meat? No thanks. It served as a close comparison. Well, I've had Croc, Gator and Ostrich and a few other items but none are Sentient. Elephant? You'll need a BIG barbie. I've always liked the "Eat what you Kill" approach to hunting, but keep the more intelligent critters off the menu.

Given that one acknowledges the responsibilities that come with position, it'd have to be a little of the former and more of the latter. That'd position one at Pikha I believe.

As does business though really for that one heads to Vland, though the dilettante can do alright on Slyea just fine if you know the right people.

Plus there is the good ESPionage that happens at Capital as well.

Me, I am there because as sure as Smoug is a very nice world my Duties to The Admiralty keep me in the Halls of Power. :devil:

The dilettante can do best on his comfy remote world, appoint some honor noble he trusts to serve as his seneschal/castellan on each of the worlds, live comfortably and send some-noble elected by his worlds with his proxy for the moot (imperial and sector)... living a comfortable, not entirely ostentatious life not unlike some of the lesser visible members of the various european royal families. Baby kissing and ribbon cutting, occasional public speeches, and avoiding all the nasty. As long as the required Imperial work gets done, life is good...
 
I just placed an order for some starship deck plans from FFE and got a bonus Patent of Nobility card with my order.

Say hello to the Baronet of Vland/Vland. :)

It goes nicely with my Viscounty on Regina in the Spinward Marches... :)

Well, it's not abnormal. Some people who have patents have only one or two, others have many (see my signature below).

It depends on the various means by which you acquired them:

  • T5-Beta supporter
  • T5-Kickstarter Backer (You could choose a number of patents by request with this method)
  • Ordering Products from FFE
  • Ordering T5-Dice from FFE
  • A Moot membership on CotI
  • Being a Kickstarter Backer of AotI

    etc.
