Hi there,

I voted no before reading all the posts. I come to this site to read about Traveller. If it limited to Si-Fi then that would not be bad. I do not want to read about magic at this site. There is an over abundance of those sites already. o:

I like Traveller but sometimes I get a little bored with it, so I switch to other types of space-games that resemble Traveller quite a bit. :rofl:

However I almost always come back to Traveller.

It seems nowadays that most RPers know at least 5 different games/gaming systems and how the intricacies of the mechanics work with respect to each of them.

I'm not that fanatical. I have a few RPGs I like and pretty much stick to them and that's enough for me.

I hate 99% of most computer games. I'm also not much of a war gamer (meaning I don't like moving counters around).

Other games that enrich Traveller fine. So, hell, yes. Even if I were to unearth my Boot Hill modules, I am sure that I could come up with a few Firefly adventures out of them...from there it is a simple leap into the Spinward Marches. If others have done the same great.

How many discussions did we have about transforming AD&D monsters into Traveller animals. True, I would not want to see our boards cluttered with how many Paladins can dance on a head of pin. But, isolated discussions sure.

You know, you could do that and have them all be Traveller.

Personally, I don't have a problem with things the way they are now. Having another forum may see some action early but sooner or later you'll be chasing tumble weeds out of there. If there was more traffic, it would be a different issue.

I think there are enough other boards (in other places) to discuss other games... and the Lone Star is always my first stop when I check in here... so if someone were to post a thread or two there... I would participate... but I would prefer keep this board with its Traveller focus.

And... I didn't like how the no vote was worded, either....

Ah,,,, ,,, Well glad to see that some one has plenty of time on their hands. Want to toss around 100lb small hay bales. I got about 1400 to do over the next 5 days.
