Optimum Number of Players?

What is the optimum number of players in Traveller?

For me its 3 + NPCs. Maximum 5, otherwise the referee is in trouble!

It's a trick question! To run an adventure as intended you need 0 players so they don't hose it up

The best gaming goup size is 4 players plus a GM. It's big enough that the players can plat off each other and keep the momemtum of the game going, but not so big that a player gets lost in the crowd.

You can have up to 6 players plus GM, but after that the group is too big to keep everyone involved all the time.

3-6 players with 4 or 5 being the best.

I personally prefer 3-4 players. I can handle up to 6 before I start ripping out my hair and start chanting to Cthulhu to save me from the infindels. My current group is 5 players.
