Apparently the Marches book sold out its first print run pretty much instantly.

This bodes well for the future.

That would really impress me based on knowing that.

I don't know how many were in the original print run.

Probably more than half a dozen, but beyond that I dunno.

I hope my game shop's distributor gets some of them, I've been hounding him about whether it's available for about three weeks. I'd hate to have him hounded until another print run makes it into the channel.

Well, both good news and bad news. I only preordered through my FGLS and who knows if the owner did order enough copies...bad news. Good news for Traveller that the line looks like it is selling well, as Mongoose seems to be supporting it well. It is also good news for you MJD as it speaks to the reputation and high regard that the community has for your work. So, I am sure, that Mongoose will continue to issue paychecks that you will continue to write...we can only hope that it is for Traveller. The bad news is that we have to wait for all these goodies to spew from your head to the printed page.
