Hi all

I have played Traveller for years (mostly the "Classic" version, but so far never online.

My preferred character type is an independent mercenary type, but with an emphasis on using brain rather than brawn.

Any pointers on getting into an online Traveller gaming environment would be very much appreciated.

Free Trader Beowulf

This is the current home of the 30th anniversary game. Other good options are the "Recruiting offoce" forum down towards the bottom of the "Forums" page.

For folks not interested in playing the game, you should check it out for a beautiful shot of the Beowulf, with thanks to Andrew Boulton and Marc Miller for letting us use the images and text. I have hopes that this imagery will be used as the background for the T5 cover, but then I'm a traditionalist

I'll update the Beowulf site to give a forum for "applications" but I'm looking for some people to play "NPC's" (short run characters) to see how the players fit in with the existing group.

Current slots are largely for "Red Shirts" but we all know that those are *very* short term assignments...
