Need Help, Knowledge and characters experience...

Hello everyone,
as a newbee player/GM at T5 I'm a bit confused with the Knowledge progression.

The book say it goes by "Knowledge, Knowledge, Skill"

So of 3 points in a Knowlege skill, 2 goes to the knowleges and the third one goes to the skill...

So far, no problem... but with the table page 114:

First Receipt of Skill= Skill-0. Knowledge-1
Second Receipt of Skill= Skill-0. Knowledge-2
Third Receipt of Skill= Skill-1. Knowledge-2
Fourth Receipt of Skill= Skill-2. Knowledge-2

I got a problem... Does the 4th point invested goes directly to the skill as the following ones (investing in knowledges will be a choice)... or it's a mistake of the book and the progression is still following the "K,K,S" schema?...

Second problem, could someone point me to the page treating of the character experience and "leveling"...

In a skill with knowledges only the first 2 receipts need go to a knowledge, thereafter the rest can go to the skill itself. Mind you Army Navy Marine school only gives knowledges.

This limitation is, in fact, not limited to ANM school but any education. For example going to University or Service Academy.. any knowledges gained from education will only apply to knowledges, even if you get more than 3 points in the knowledge.

I believe, however, if you get 2 in a knowledge then later as part of your career get the 3rd point that would then increase the skill? Or am I wrong there and it has to be 2 knowledges gained outside of education before you get the skill?
