My official real world character in Traveller

Blue Ghost

SOC-14 5K
Knight
If I were in the Imperium, I would be a scout who maybe spent a year or two cross trained in navy and marines (or army).

My official scout "me" is a t-shirt and jeans type ... I don't shave, ... I wear the same sweat stained ball cap for days on end ... my leather jacket is draped over the pilot's seat ... pizza box with a few slices rests on the "unimportant" section of the console (who needs emergency distress signals anyway?) ... coke cans litter the area around my pilot's chair ... there are probably bread crumbs here and there, soda and pizza stained orders, and I occasionally put on an open collard shirt (but I don't button it up) when not carrying anything important. And when I get an official call over comms, I usually answer; "Your dime." or "Ghost here, whaddya want?" Or, if someone's collecting on my monthly starship payment; "Ah, we got a bad connection here...." followed by me making static noises with my mouth.

Just call me mister professional. :)

Is this one of thems where you say what you'd be in your TU? I'll join in on this.

If I were is the Traveller Universe, I'd have been a Merchant Crew who spent his younger years in some less then legal exploits. But I still keep in touch.

While I'm on the job, I'm in a oddly comfy pair of slacks with one of any number of custom t-shirts with smart ass comments on it. Shore leave, and its time to break out the Ole bomber jacket. My crewmates are always sour when I get back and tell them the grand bar stories, you know, the ones that always end with a broken chair and a few more drinks. They just don't get out enough. My old buddies always have a job or two when I get back out to the Rim, but its all charity work, pittance pay. My station is usually clean. Not that half the buttons work, but hey, the knobs turn and the stick wiggles, and the boat turns. There is the damn snub gun one of the guys gave to me that won't go back together after it got torn down for cleaning.
