Multiple Nobles on a world

Also, while a noble system that has nobles of the same rank owing allegiance to each other is no less concievable than militaries where officers of the same rank command each other, I don't care for it.

Hi,

but it has certainly happened historically (senior Lieutenant at Rourke's Drift, a German Captain commanding the defence of Halfaya pass in 1941 for example. Also when Rommel disappeared during the battle of Gazala, a Colonel Gause took command and issued orders to senior Italian and German officers.

I would therefore postulate it is likely to continue in the future.

Since the bulk of the world's population is Chinese, how about Mandarin for little 'f' instead?

Kind Regards

David

'It' being military officers of the same rank ordering each other around, sure. I For all I know, the same thing has happened with nobles. Which is why I admitted up front that such a set-up is perfectly conceivable.
