MT CD rom edition

I grabbed the free MT Player Manual from DriveThru a couple of weeks ago, and was happy with the product. Actually, I was fairly impressed.

Now, I downloaded the Twilight 2000 book last week. :( IT was terribly done. Whoever scanned it didn't increase the whatchamacallit - so you can see the print on the other side of the page. It makes it look awful.

The only problems I've seen with the MT book is a few of the characters are OCRed wrong if you do a copy and paste, and some of the lines are "out of order" in the tables (again, if you do a copy and paste).

You can say thanks to all the purchasers who contacted Drivethru concerning the MT series.
My origional DRM copy was not much better than the Twilight 2000 that I just downloaded.

The current copy of MT (If you watch for file updates, you will be able to get newer/fixed versions of the files you have purchased) from DriveThru.

The more customers who buy the product and are vocal about complaints, improve the product for the rest of us.

The problem is, you need to print the product out (finding missing/duplicate things on a computer screen is harder than you would think) and read the document with an eye for editing.

You also need to export the OCR text to file and try to understand what is being said.

That is alot of work, and if it is what the extra time has been for Mark to get this product ready, I will buy it from him.

best regards

Dalton

Just a bit of a bump to see if anyone has ordered this yet and knows anything new.

One thing I just noticed and am curious about is the "for PC" notation beside the graphic link. Does he mean PC as in the generic "Personal Computer" or PC as in the more often "must be running MS something"?
