General Module or Map of a Scavenger Base?

I am looking for a module and/or map (ruleset agnostic) that depicts a scavenger base, preferably on a desert world or at least one sparsely populated. I am modding High and Dry so the ship the PCs are looking for is in the possession of a group of raiders/scavs who are in the process of dismantling the ship for scrap, as opposed to the module's ship stranded in a volcano scene.

Anyone have any suggestions?

and you could always pull the AI route. but there are also a lot of maps out there that may fit - just have to get the right search criteria. (and yeah, I do agree w/Casquilho's view of AI)

AI v1 (though has some strong video game feel) from "draw a map that looks like a science fiction scavengers base"

That looks very much like the camp in Road Warrior.

Star Wars 7 is an interesting scavenger base.

But that's a big question right away. The Road Warrior one is, essentially, a fortress of sorts. Walls, gates, gun towers. They're keeping something out.

The Star Wars one is not, it's just a camp in the middle of the desert with a space port. But it's wide open, and uncontrolled. Clearly in a "safe", if inhospitable area.

So, that's certainly a fundamental theme element to decide early for your camp.

To be honest I do not know for sure where it came from, I just saw it one day and liked it.

The home page here is pretty handy for maps overall. There are several explicitly sci fi maps, and a number more that are genre-neutral and to my eye work for things like a geodesic dome camp, alien or ancient base, scientific outpost. Only drawback is these aren't all explicitly tagged, so there's a lot of scrolling through more traditional dungeon maps.

You should be able to find something similar to what you are looking for in one of those. There's a lot to look at.
