MgT LITE

I'm working on a starter adventure for MgT that I may run for some frindes and/or turn into a con scenario. I have a copy of the Core Book, but I'm fairly sure my friends won't want to invest in copies for themselves. So I've been trying to find some sort of MgT Light, a starter pack, something that I can legally download and give to players that gives the basic mechanics.

Is there anything like that around?

Failing that, is there a subset of the Core Book that Mongoose would consider it fair use to photocopy and lend to players, just during a game session?

Book 0 has the Army and Navy career.

There is also the Traveller SRD with the Scout career.

I haven't put them side by side to see what other things one may have that the other doesn't.

I imagine Star Cadets could be adapted to MgT...
