I got mine from customs today!

I admit I had doubts, due to the beta quality and seeing all those negative "reviews", but rejoice! the book is really looking great and the inside looks clear and professional. Let there be errata and let there be unorthodox chapter/content ordering (btw, by far not that bad!) - it is (by first impression) the ultimate edition of Traveller and I am looking forward to playing the game!

So those who recently ordered from FFE directly are getting their notices and books before those of us who backed the Kickstarter a year ago? Because I haven't seen or heard anything since I made the $1 PayPal payment for ease of shipping, per Marc's request.

I think it was probably a mistake to offer it on the webstore before the kickstarter books went out. However, the existance of an on going web store complicates things. Consider someone who picks up a couple hundred dollars worth of the reprints and a T5 book. If they get their main order first and the T5 book later Marc ends up eating the shipping on the book. If they are made to wait for the T5 kickstarter orders Marc probably loses a customer and may even have action taken against him by his credit card service provider.

I ordered once the books were available and I got my beta disc pretty quickly but have had to wait for my book. No email at all here. Would it have made more sense to ship my book with my beta disc? I think so but I can understand why I have to wait for the book.

I agree with you there David.
I knew the situation when I ordered my book last month so I know I will have to wait. If I didn't know about the Kickstarter situation and was ordering without knowing about the delays I would be quite angry about it.
In fairness, though, I found the link to the ordering page in a post on this forum. The last time I looked at the T5 page on FFE website there was no direct link to the order page so it looks like the order page has been set up in advance and there is no active promotion of it as yet.
