Making up new careers

I think there was an article in one of the print issues of JTAS with some general advice about making up new character generation tables. Can anyone remember which one? Or if they've seen something like that elsewhere?

JTAS issue number 15. It's an article by Marc. Plus, you have the Character Creation form in Supp 12.

Based on the design notes there, it appeared that Marc was more concerned with game balance than "realism".

It's a cool article.
