Low Passage question

Nowhere does the current T5 book mention Survival rolls and such for Low Passage. Are those done away with except in unusual circumstances now (such as no medical attention or damage to berths)?

QREBS to the Rescue!

This is a job for everyones favorite acronym, QREBS!

I think that Quality, Reliability and Safety would have a lot to do with if you want to get in a Low Berth and try your luck with the Low Lottery.

If it is at -N in any of QRebS. I think I might figure on waiting for the next ship. Hells, I might even have more CrImps by then.

If it has +N in QRebS then I'll hop right in and wake up at my destination.

I would have more, but Real Life demands my attention right now. Maybe later.

Of course, you have to know the Qrebs of the unit you are assigned to before you turn over your ticket, and that is where they get you...

Average (2D) < C3 + Attendant's Medical skill + the QREBS modifiers above.
