General Low Passage adventures?

Apparently, there are differences.

Somewhere between near death, and revival.

Joe and his friends had just enough money.
Just enough, that is, for "either" the lot being sold or the passage to Harry's home world
So, they talked about it and Harry was certain he could sell the lot for two or even three times what it would cost them.

So, they did the figures and realized they could buy and ship the lot while booking passage in low berths.
It wasn't a great idea, but they'd be wealthy if Harry came through for them.

At the end of the jump, they were all revived and well enough, except Harry!
He hadn't come out of the low berth alive and his body had been moved to a med-service facility!
They had examined the body under stasis and offered the team a slate of post-fatal treatments which could likely revive Harry - to a certain degree.

While the doctors let the guys talk on their own, a nurse slipped into the room on some task or other and discreetly slipped one of them a note before leaving them again

The note suggested there were "people" they could contact.
People who would do their best and charge even less. And, perhaps revive Harry

What could they do? They had almost no money and Harry was the key to it all
So, the called the mysterious comms link and reached a voice with no vid on the other end.
The voice heard their tale patiently, and then said they would do what they could.
The price? Contingent on how well they succeeded and to be paid out of the sale price they got for the lot.

So, 72 hours living in a waiting room and praying for the best, Harry was actually revived and returned to them.
Eager to get through this and see what money was left after it all, they got moving and did their dog and pony show for the intended buyer.

Who wasn't interested. At all.

Crushed, and now trapped on that world, they reported back to "the voice", who again listened patiently
The voice was - disappointed, to say the least

They were told a tracker had been implanted in Harry's bones "just in case"
And, now the guys had a huge debt they couldn't pay and no money to even buy their next meal.

So, the voice directed them to a ground freight terminal that was always hiring.
They were given the details of a shipment that would pass through the facility in the next 24 hours and told that they had to get jobs there, boost the shipment and where to deliver it. They were told there were lots of free lunches to steal in the break room there, and if they did as they were told, they'd get enough cash for a motel and meals.

The rest would go to paying off their debt and they'd be told when their debt was paid off - so , "DON'T ASK!"
