Looking to start online campaign

Hugopig

SOC-1
I am looking to start an online campaign of T20 once my copy arrives. I'm looking for these character types:

1. A Far Trader captain with a checkered past but with big ambitions and determined to hold onto his ship. Perhaps earlier in his career he did some spying for the Imperium.

2. The various crew positions on a Far Trader. I want this to be a colorful bunch.

3. An agent of the bank that holds the loan on the ship.

The central theme is that the bank is trying to monopolize trade in the subsector by driving out small independents like the PCs. The bank agent is there to sieze the ship at the slightest hint of a dropped payment. It's going to be a trading campaign with high doses of political intrigue that can get the PCs into a lot of trouble.

How are you planning to run the game? GRIP, chat or PBEM?
I was thinking PBEM, though I can do GRIP once I figure it out and get the proper entite forms for T20. But I think PBEM would work best.

PBEM I could manage. The bank bit sounds odd, but on 2nd thought could be fun. What area of space are you looking at? (i.e. subsector/sector)

I'd like to be the Far Trader (who wouldn't?!) ... but my other question is how often would you be playing? I could probably manage a couple of posts a week, but not much more.

I would like to join also. Probably ship security/gopher, but I am still going over the many delicious possibilitites.

I could post 2-3 times a week or more depending on the content.

Sounds good. I'm interested and could play any of the crew not taken already or a passenger/extra hand. PBEM, Grip, or Ezboard is fine with me. (I'm looking into online game options at the moment for running my own game in the future)

Currently in Eclipse's PBEM and having a blast in it but I wouldn't mind playing a little more techno-savy character. ;)

I have nevered played in any situation other than at a gaming table. But I will give this a try. Sign me up.

I want to play security dude, or gunner (both, in one Char.?) Or Engineer type.

Do you still have openings? I'm available for PBEM, and would love to play Traveller. I would prefer to play a member of the crew, if there are still slots open there.

I'd be interested in playing Pilot/Navigator.

Wounded ex-Naval officer

Cross between Dr Strangelove and Colonel von Stauffenburg.

I'd be interested in playing a TL 1 Barbarian. I'd like to make him a knight in full plate with a sack full of gold pieces and perhaps a horse. He could probably learn how to fire a rifle with some training. Basically I'd like to select his equipment from the D&D Player's handbook to start out and then introduce him to Traveller Society. He is a bit uncultivated, has a sense of honor and a tendency to challenge his enemies to single combat. He has some outdated notions toward women, he is basically a square peg trying to fit into Traveller society.

I'd be very interested in playing if you can use another hand. Ex-scout type person with lots of out world time. Could be on this crew because of falling on hard times.

Let me know what you think.

I usually play a lot of combatants, but I think I would like to be a noble or corporate researcher. Lots of social skills (interpersonal) and some scientific skills.

I want an idea like Prince Andrew (England, 20th Century), who ran off to get married and be an archeologist. The old lady got tired of travelling to the ass ends of the galaxy and divorced me (I still have my dreams, even if I do'nt get the girl).

This is not to say that Prince Andrew became an archeologist-- but he did loose his title by marrying a "commoner."
